Police Patrols

PCSOs have been patrolling around #HemelHempstead following reports of vehicle crime.

They spoke to residents and passed on advice to help people keep their vehicles and homes more secure as the nights draw in.

Always ensure that your vehicle is fully locked and secured when leaving it unattended - even if it's just for a few minutes.

Never leave valuable items such as bags, wallets, laptops or phones on display. Also remove things like leads, sunglasses and loose change, as these can be enough to entice an opportunist thief to break in.

If you have a keyless vehicle, keep your fob and any spares in a signal blocking pouch.

If you witness any suspicious activity, call 999 straight away.
